Black & White Landscapes
For many years, my black and white landscape work kept me grounded—and sane—unlike my then emotional and ephemeral race-relations day job. It still does in many ways. Connecting easily to the physical, I am at home in the natural world.
My process is all about connection. Something “out there” reaches out, and catches my eye. I ask myself: “What’s revealing itself?” “What do I feel?” With or without answers, I click the shutter to complete the connection, and often find understanding later
